The Strange Coincidence of the Identical Crash

In Bermuda during 1974 and 1975, two teenage brothers were struck and killed by the same taxi, almost exactly one year apart. 

On July 30, 1974, 17-year-old Neville Ebbin was riding his moped down Middle Road when he was hit by a taxi and tragically lost his life. 

Almost a year later, a nearly unbelievable coincidence occurred.

 On July 18, 1975, Neville's younger brother, Erskine Lawrence Ebbin, who was also 17, was killed while riding a moped. 
🛵 He was riding the very same moped that his older brother had died on.

 In a twist that seems impossible, he was struck on the same road by the very same taxi, which was driven by the same man, Willard Manders.

According to reports from their father and local newspapers, even the passenger in the taxi was the same one from the first accident a year prior. 😥
