The second-generation Hi4 plug-in hybrid powertrain onboard the vehicle consists of a new 1.5T engine (model GW4B15M) and dual electric motors. Compared with the 1.5T engine (GW4B15E) used in the current model, the maximum power is reduced from 123 kW to 115 kW, the peak torque is 243 Nm, and the thermal efficiency is 41.5%. Overall, the comprehensive system power is increased by 17% to 330 kW (443 hp), the total torque is 750 Nm, and the 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time is 5.9 seconds.
A ternary lithium battery pack with a capacity of 35.43 kWh is also added, providing a pure electric range of 200 km under CLTC conditions (or 151 km under WLTC conditions).
At the same time, the 18.74 kWh and 27.54 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack options are retained, offering a pure electric range of 102 km and 145 km under CLTC conditions (81 km and 115 km under WLTC conditions, respectively).
Inside, the interior layout is consistent with that of the ICE variant, featuring a double-spoke steering wheel with a paddle shifter, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, and a 14.6-inch central control screen, powered by GWM’s Coffee OS 3 vehicle operating system. There are also 20 physical buttons in the cockpit for configuration controls, along with 50 W wireless charging for mobile phones, height adjustable cupholders, and a refrigerator that supports heating and cooling embedded on the center console.
