King Charles was spotted in a brand new $230K EV as he swaps his fleet of royal cars, and it’s no surprise that the eco-warrior has opted for an electric BMW i7 M70.

The King was being driven to a service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham, UK, estate, and eagle-eyed fans spotted that his ride was brand new.

The top-of-the-range black BMW i7 M70 xDrive joins other EVs in his collection, and the monarch is known for being somewhat of an auto-enthusiast.

Not only does he stand by greener auto alternatives like electric vehicles, he’s also had some of his cars converted to run on biofuel if they’re gas-powered.

It’s no secret that King Charles is an eco-warrior, and his brand new $230K EV shows off that fact very clearly, being an environmentally conscious choice.

On a trip to a church service at St Mary Magdalene Church nestled in the UK’s Sandringham Estate, the monarch was photographed enjoying his new ride.

His new black BMW i7 M70 xDrive comes along with the announcement that the King is swapping his fleet of cars, and the EV joins another one in his collection, a $215K Electric Lotus.

King Charles first jumped on the EV bandwagon all the way back in 2018 when he purchased an EV400 HSE Jaguar I-Pace.

Not only does he make eco-conscious choices with EVs, he converted a gift from his mother, the late Queen Elizabeth, a vintage Aston Martin DB6 to run on biofuel.

The King is known to be an auto enthusiast and enjoys fancy cars. But he cares about the environmental impact of having lots of gas-powered cars, too, so he finds workarounds.

Turns out that while his new BMW i7 M70 xDrive is black in color, it’s green in spirit.
