Geely launched the Starshine 8 plug-in hybrid sedan under its Geely Galaxy brand, available in seven trims with a price range of 125,800 – 165,800 yuan (17,400 – 22,900 USD) and two comprehensive ranges of 1,500 km and 1,600 km.
The Geely Galaxy Starshine 8 adopts a fastback design, measures 5018/1918/1480 mm with a wheelbase of 2928 mm, has a drag coefficient of 0.25Cd, and a curb weight of 1908 kg, 1860 kg, or 1760 kg, depending on the trims. Power comes from either Geely’s Thor EM-P or Thor EM-i plug-in hybrid system. The official moose test speed is 80 km/h.
