The Hongqi EHS7 has launched in China as the Hongqi Tiangong 08.
The EHS7 is meant to be Europe bound and European pre-sales began at the Paris Motor Show.

Built on the Tiangong modular platform, there are five versions of the new car priced from 239,800 yuan (32,750 USD) to 339,800 yuan. Positioned as a medium to large pure electric SUV, the versions are as follows:

-520 Max 239,800 yuan (32,750 USD)

-605 Max249,800 yuan (34,100 USD)

-565 Ultra (four-wheel drive)279,800 yuan (38,200 USD)

-730 Max309,800 yuan (42,300 USD)

-680 Ultra (four-wheel drive)339,800 yuan (46,400 USD)

The EHS7 Measures 4925 mm in length, 1950 mm in width, and 1680 mm in height; meanwhile, the wheelbase is exactly three meters.

The new car is part of the New Energy range from Hongqi, and the design ethos is meant to emphasize the beauty of China’s integration.

At the front, the car has headlights which look like the number 7.

There is a similar-looking light cluster at the rear.

Hongqi’s new EV is available in six nature-inspired colors: Distant Mountain Purple, Cloud Stream White, Quiet Sea Blue, Quarter Moon Gray, Galaxy Silver, and Polar Night Black.

The car uses air suspension and gains rear-wheel steering. In the future an OTA will allow the car a crab walking mode.

The turning radius is 5.3 meters, and the maximum turning angle for the rear wheels is plus or minus 8 degrees.

Inside, the Hongqi EHS7 is really quite different from how most EVs look these days.

Firstly, the 15.5-inch infotainment screen is sculpted into the dashboard.

This then gradually makes its way into the 6-inch instrument screen.

The Tiangong 08 has an AI voice system using iFlytek’s latest Smart TTS.
