Tesla Cybertruck owner breaks his own finger trying to prove vehicle is safe

Cybertrucks have been praised as the next step in car manufacturing by some, while others have insisted the vehicle designed by Elon Musk’s Tesla are less than up to standard in quality.
Many social media users have made scores of videos showing off its many features, whilst highlighting its perceived issues, since the car was released to the public in November of last year.
At the start of the year, many Cybertruck owners were trying the ‘carrot test’ to see if it passed their safety concerns.
Essentially, the videos show that when the front trunk closes, if your hand is in the way, it does not stop at all. Pretty much trapping fingers hands or whatever is in the way.
Here is where the carrot comes in.
Instead of sticking their fingers in the way to test if they would lose one of them, most have been sticking a carrot to see for themselves and are stunned when it is snapped instantly.

Fears have arisen regarding whether people could actually lose fingers... so yeah, it might be worth checking if this is legit or not.
One brave (or stupid) owner decided rather than test it with a carrot, he would test it with his finger.
In a YouTube video uploaded May 5, user Joe Fay decided to put his body on the line and remained confident he would be A-Okay... he was mistaken.
In classic foreshadowing, he even tested it with a small stick first. The twig was quickly snapped and he added that he was hopeful his finger wouldn’t snap like that.
After his finger got trapped, he struggled to even hold the camera straight, and when he later showed it to the camera, he remarked he thinks he broke it as he was losing feeling in his finger.
Unsurprisingly, the comment’s section started roasting him for doing it to himself.
