One of the top tips for selling a house for more money is getting professionally shot pictures that highlight the best things about the property. A UK-based homeowner took this advice to the next level by adding an eye-catching object in the pictures that could easily encourage buyers to pay a higher asking price. The object in question is a Ferrari
LaFerrari – one of the greatest automotive creations of this century. The house listed for sale is located in Luton, UK, and was built in 1869. While the estate preserves its Victorian-era look on the outside, the beautiful Grade II Listed home features a thoroughly modern interior that was refurbished by the present owner to an exacting standard. Yet, the highlight has to be the Italian hybrid hypercar that is parked in what appears to be the living room next to floor-to-ceiling windows.

You’ll be surprised to learn that the LaFerrari is actually more than a million dollars more expensive than the house it is parked inside, which was the first thing noticed by a lot of potential buyers who were left amazed by looking at the pictures. The asking price of the mansion, which is built on a 1.3-acre land, is £2.5 million (~ $3.2 million). However, a well-kept example of the LaFerrari can easily fetch upwards of $4 million. Online car sales site AutoTrader has three LaFerraris on sale, all priced at $4.2 million.

One commenter wrote, “Why would you put your car in the living room when trying to sell your house?” “It’s Luton. Clearly it’d get nicked if it was left outside,” one replied.

Unveiled in 2013, this limited-production hypercar combines a potent 6.3-liter V12 engine with an electric motor, resulting in a staggering total output of approximately 950 horsepower. Limited to just 499 units.
