The Luxeed R7 SUV coupe from Chery and Huawei sold over 40,000 units four months after the sales launch.

Luxeed delivered over 11,000 cars in January via Huawei’s HIMA stores.

The brand officials claim, that the R7 has become the bestselling Chinese electric SUV with a price tag above 250,000 yuan (34,280 USD).

However, this statement isn’t accurate.

The Luxeed R7 entered the Chinese market on September 24 as the second joint product between Huawei and Chery.

On December 19, the EREV variant of this crossover started domestic sales.

This vehicle is being sold in Huawei’s HIMA stores alongside Aito  and Stelato branded cars.

The Luxeed R7 became a hot seller in China in a few months.
